Shane Stockton graduated from Ohio Northern University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy in 1979. He then began his career as a pharmacist with Revco Drug. His next position was that of a Pharmacy Supervisor, both with Revco, and then with CVS/Pharmacy. During that time as a Pharmacy Supervisor he completed numerous acquisitions and met many independent owners. Over the years he learned a lot about independent owners and what is important to them. Now, having been a Regional Director of Acquisitions since 1998, he prides himself on his ability to communicate openly and honestly with owners about what the whole acquisition process entails. Shane realizes that a pharmacy may have been in a family for several generations and that the possibility of selling can be a very emotional decision. He tries to explain everything, answer all questions and calm an owner's concerns. He consistently has owner's tell him that, "Everything went exactly as you said it would." To him, there is no better compliment. In his spare time, Shane enjoys running and listening to classic rock and roll music.
